There were five break and enters and one attempted break-in that were investigated by police over the past 24 hours.

In the 100 block of Church Street at about 12:40 yesterday afternoon thieves made off with a quantity of electronic equipment. Entry was gained by forcing the front door.

There was a break-in in the 100 block of Goulais Avenue at 7:55 p.m. although nothing appears to have been taken. Entry was gained through an unlocked door. The residents were home at the time and may have scared off the intruder.

There was a break-in in the 100 block of Queen Street East at 11:00 last night. Entry was gained by forcing the front door. Nothing appears to have been taken.

At 4:45 this morning an attempted break-in in the 600 block of Second Line West resulted in damage to a front window. It is not known at this time if entry was gained.

At 6:10 this morning thieves broke into a business in the 100 block of Great Northern Road and took a quantity of money. Entry was likely through a rear do
