Arrests/Charged Persons:
A 20 year old male will also appear in bail court this morning after being charged in a domestic related incident. The accused faces charges of assault, unlawful confinement and possession of a controlled substance

On August 15th at 10:25 a.m. 22 year old Joshua Tadashore of 659 Queen Street East was arrested and charged with theft under $5000. Mr. Tadashore was observed in the Sears store of the Station Mall where it is alleged that he left the store without paying for 2 articles of clothing. Tadashore will appear in court on September 24th.

The Traffic Services division of the police service is still investigating a motor vehicle and pedestrian accident which occurred at the intersection of Lake Street and McNabb Street. An 82 year old male is still recovering in hospital as a result of injuries he received after he was struck by a motor vehicle on Wednesday afternoon. If any member of the public witnessed the accident and has not spoken to an officer, they are asked to call the city police station at 705-949-6300, and ask to speak with Constable Lapish of traffic services.

20 year old Dennis William Robinson will appear in bail court this morning after being charged with 9 criminal offences. Mr. Robinson is believed to have entered a residence on Albert Street West on the 14th of August and once inside assaulted 5 people with a weapon. Robinson is also charged with administering a noxious substance, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possessing a prohibited weapon and breaching his probation order. No serious injuries were reported.
