On April 12, 2017 officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 17-year-old male in relation to a theft from a local high school.

On Apr. 12, 2017 officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 17-year-old male in relation to a theft from a local high school.

It is alleged that the male took several items belonging to other students from a locker room in the school.  The items included an iPhone 6, Beats wireless headphones, several other earbud headphones and cash. The total value of goods stolen was just over $1,600.

The accused was charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of stolen property. He will appear in court on May 19, 2017.
