Three face trafficking charges after police seize suspected crack, fentanyl, heroin

Three individuals face drug trafficking charges after police responded to a break and enter in progress on East Street late last night.

In a news release issued today, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service states that 25-year-old Kevin Caswell, 22-year-old Alyssa Daynard, and 22-year-old Christien Tucci were located and arrested at a residence in the 100 block of East Street shortly before 11 p.m.

Police say the three were in possession of a television stolen from the residence, as well as suspected crack cocaine, fentanyl, and heroin.

Caswell, Daynard, and Tucci stand charged with:
    •    break and enter
    •    theft under $5,000
    •    three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking

They are scheduled to appear in court on March 1.
