A 38-year-old is facing impaired-related charges after police were alerted to a swerving vehicle on Trunk Road Friday afternoon.
The 911 call came in at around 2 p.m. on Oct. 20, triggering a traffic stop in the 100 block of Trunk.
Police say the driver complied with the officers’ initial demand for a breath sample — which registered above the legal limit — but refused to provide a second sample.
Robert Allard is charged with operation while impaired and refusal to comply with a breath demand.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing. None of the allegations have been tested in court and Allard is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
