SAULT STE. MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On July 30, 2017 officers with the Patrol Services Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 59-year-old Arthur Young of Trunk Road for assault with a weapon.
On July 30, the accused attended the residence of a person known to him and engaged in a verbal argument with another male that was at that residence and was known to him.
The accused then allegedly used a knife to stab the victim. Police were contacted and the victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police soon after located the accused and he was taken into custody. He has been charged with one count of assault with a weapon and was held for bail court.
