At 10:12 A.M. City Police responded to a call of a women needing assistance. Officer attended a west end residence and located a 21 year old male in the residence of the victim.

At 10:12 A.M. City Police responded to a call of a women needing assistance.  Officer attended a west end residence and located a 21 year old male in the residence of the victim.  The investigation revealed that the accused had assaulted the female and was on a probation order preventing him from being at the residence.  Additionally the male was wanted on two outstanding warrants.  The accused faces charges of assault, three counts of breach of probation, and fail to attend court.  He will be appearing in bail court on September 28, 2015 at 10:00 A.M.

At 11:44 A.M. City Police responded to an accident with injuries on Cody Point Ct.  The investigation revealed that a young person was moving a car from his residence when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the garage of the residence across the street.  Considerable damage was caused to the structure and moderate damage to the car.  The young male was treated at the scene.  No charges were laid.

On September 26, 2015 City Police responded to a call at a local bank.  It is alleged that a male attempted to cash a cheque that was known to be forged.  The accused was arrested by police and will appear in court on November 2, 2015 at 9:00 am.

On September 26, 2015 a City Police responded to a call at a local bank and attempted to cash a cheque that she knew was stolen.  Investigation revealed that the cheque was allegedly had a forged signature on it. The accused female age 45 had attempted the same actions between February and June of 2015. The accused is charged with theft under $5000 X 2, uttering a forged document X 2 and knowingly making a false document X 2. The accused will appear in wash court (weekend and statutory holiday court) on September 27, 2015.

On September 26, 2015 City Police responded to a domestic incident in the Northern Avenue area.  It is alleged that after a heated verbal argument an accused male age 38 assaulted a female victim.  The accused was later located and charged with domestic assault.  The accused will appear in wash court (weekend and statutory holiday court) on September 27, 2015.

On September 27, 2015 at approximately 12:17 am City Police attended in the area of East Balfour Avenue regarding a possible impaired driver in the ditch.  On attending located a male near the vehicle. The male allegedly swerved to avoid a cat and went into the ditch.  Officer’s believed that the male was impaired by alcohol. The accused was given a road side and failed.  The accused was transported to the station and it is alleged that the accused failed the test.  The accused is charged with having care and control of a motor vehicle with more than 80 mg of alcohol in his blood.  The accused John Leonard Kalomiris age 31 is scheduled to attend court on October 26, 2015 at 9:00 am.
