On November 14, 2015 police arrested a 32-year-old male in relation to a domestic investigation involving his 30-year-old girlfriend.

On November 14, 2015 police arrested a 32-year-old male in relation to a domestic investigation involving his 30-year-old girlfriend. It is alleged that over the past month the accused assaulted the victim on several occasions by punching her, sometimes repeatedly. It is further alleged that on one of these occasions the accused threatened the victim with a knife and on another confined her in her vehicle while he assaulted her and damaged her vehicle. The accused has been charged with forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, four counts of assault, mischief and six counts of breaching the probation order he was on at the time of these offences. The accused appeared in W.A.S.H court and has been remanded to bail court on November 16.

On November 15, 2015 at 2 p.m. police arrested a 43-year-old male for criminal harassment. It is alleged that over the past few months the accused repeatedly followed and communicated with a 15-year-old female causing the female to fear for her safety. The accused will appear in court on December 21.

Several vehicles and building were spray-painted with graffiti overnight in the 500 and 600 blocks of MacDonald Ave.

Sometime overnight unknown culprits smashed in the rear door of a residence in the 400 block of Wellington Street East and stole a Shaw cable box.

On November 14, 2015 City Police responded to a threatening call in the east end of city.  Investigation revealed that the accused [appeared to be] in an intoxicated state and [had allegedly] threatened to kill her neighbour’s dog and threatened to kill her neighbour.  [It is alleged that] the accused approached the victim with a knife and the threats were made.  Police arrested Chelsea Rose Fisher, age 20 for threatening to kill an animal and threatening death to the victim. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on December 14, 2015 at 9 a.m.
