Sault Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that took place early Sunday morning in the 100 block of Alexandra Street.
A news release issued today by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service reports that "a vehicle attended the area at the time of the incident, then fled the area. It is believed the vehicle played a role in the incident. This is believed to be an isolated incident and not a random act of violence."
No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
