A search was immediately launched for the missing snowmobiler and at 3:20 this morning, he was located at the west end of Sunnyside Beach Road. The 32-year-old unidentified man had hit a tree was pronounced dead at the acene. The investigation continues.


ACCIDENT ON McNABB AT BLACK ROAD
Yesterday at 9:23 am, a Mazda van driven by a 46-year-old female was travelling southbound on Black Road when it collided with a Toyota Forerunner, being driven by a 61-year-old female who was travelling westbound on McNabb Street.

The Toyota flipped, coming to rest on a Hyundai Santa Fe, which was being driven by a 41-year-old female.

The driver of the Toyota was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The two other drivers sustained minor injuries. All three vehicles were severely damaged.

A fourth vehicle, a Dodge pick-up, which had been parked in a lot on the southwest side of the intersection, received light damage when it was struck by the Toyota. The investigation is continuing.


SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-SERIOUS INJURIES
City police officers are investigating a collision involving snow machines. Yesterday at 3:30pm, a female was operating a snowmobile on the frozen water at Nokomis Beach when she lost control.

She was transported to Sault Area Hospital and was scheduled to be airlifted to Sudbury for treatment of serious injuries. The victim has not been identified as yet.
