ATTACKED IN HER BEDROOM
The Sault Police Service is investigating an assault and break and enter to a residence in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue that occurred early yesterday morning.

The lone female resident of the apartment awoke to find a male in her bedroom. After a short struggle the victim was able to fend off the attacker who fled the scene. The female victim received minor injuries as a result of the struggle.

The Sault Police Major Crime Unit is investigating and would like your help if you have any information. You are asked to contact police at 949-6300.

Police ask you to remember your safety during this hot weather. Make sure doors and open windows are secured to prevent entry.
