City Police officers had a routine Saturday night. There are two males in custody this morning as a result of domestic disputes.

Last evening at 7:00 o’clock, police were called to the central part of the city and arrested a male who allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and another male. The male victim received minor injuries in the incident. The suspect has been charged with assault, assault with a weapon and two breaches of probation.

The second domestic dispute also occurred in the central part of the city when a male assaulted his common-law partner. She received minor injuries that did not require medical attention.

As usual, the victim and the accused are not identified to protect the identity of the victim.

Sergeant Steve Davey reports that police were going steady with routine calls until about 3:00 this morning before things settled down.
