At 3:25 p.m. on July 18, 2015 city police attended Rome’s on Great Northern Rd regarding a shoplifter. 28-year-old Amanda Neyland of Waabung st Sault Ste Marie was arrested and charged with theft under $5000.00 and assault with the intent to resist. It’s alleged that the accused stole some items and when approached by store security she resisted his attempt to arrest her. She will be appearing in Court on August 17, 2015
At 11:25 a.m. on July 18, 2015 city police arrested a 58-year-old Sault resident on an outstanding domestic related warrant. It alleged that between April 2011 and July 12, 2015 the accused criminally harassed his ex-common law spouse. Additionally the male was charged with mischief to property under $5000.00 in relation to an incident on June 30, 2015. He will be appearing in Video Bail Court on July 19, 2015.
At 11:55 p.m. on July 18, 2015 City Police were called to a Grace Street residence regarding an out of control young person. Police arrested a 16 year old female for Mischief to Property under $5000.00. She will be appearing in Court on August 25, 2015.
