City Police officers had occasion to check a 56-year-old male early this morning in the west end. It was determined that he was on conditions to abide by a curfew from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. As a result, 56-year-old Joseph Martone of Wellington St.

City Police officers had occasion to check a 56-year-old male early this morning in the west end. It was determined that he was on conditions to abide by a curfew from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. As a result, 56-year-old Joseph Martone of Wellington St. West was arrested and charged with breaching a condition of his recognizance and one count of breach of probation. He appeared in WASH Court on August 09, 2015 and was remanded to the Algoma Remand Centre until Monday, August 10 when he will be appearing in Bail Court.

City Police officers were called to a disturbance in the 600 block of Pine St. last night. Investigation revealed that a 23-year-old male had been drinking and arguing with his sister who lived at the residence in question. The male eventually threw a rock through one of the windows of the residence. Rock Trudeau of Garden River was charged with one count of mischief and will be appearing in Provincial Court September 14.
