A vehicle in the 200 block of East Balfour St. was entered sometime between August 12th and 13th. A laptop, cell phone and change was taken.
On August 29, 2015 at 10pm police arrested 33 year old Tanya Keating of Albert St. W. It is alleged that on August 27th the accused attended at a local playground and slapped an 11 year old female in the face. The accused has been charged with assault and will appear in court on September 28th.
On August 29, 2015 at 10pm police located a 22 year old male who was wanted on domestic warrants after missing his court date. The accused was walking downtown when he was spotted by officers. The accused was wanted for four counts of assault, uttering threats, forcible confinement, two counts of breach of probation and two counts of failing to attend court. The accused will be in W.A.S.H. court this morning.
On August 30, 2015 at 1am police arrested 49 year old David Eagle of Queen St W. It is alleged that on the 29th of August the accused became involved in an argument with a male friend. The argument escalated and the accused punched the victim and then hit the victim in the face with a beer can causing minor injuries. The victim was treated by EMTs on scene. The accused has been charged with assault with a weapon and will appear in court on September 28th.
Mischiefs
On August 29, 2015 unknown culprits vandalized the wooden moose statue set on the waterfront at 89 Foster Dr. The culprit destroyed the statue by cutting the head off the moose.
