On August 10, 2013 in the late afternoon Police Officers were called to a residence in the 300 block of Fifth Ave. for a disturbance. Officers spoke to Annette Betty-Lynn Denis, age 39 of 338 Fifth Ave. Apt 2 Sault Ste. Marie. Officers noted she had been drinking alcohol which was a contravention of an undertaking she on. Denis was arrested and charged with Breach of Undertaking and two counts of Breach of Probation. She will appear in court on Sept. 16th.

On August 10, 2013 shortly before 6:00 pm Police Officers were called to a motor vehicle collision on Goulais Ave. near Fourth Line. Both drivers were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Officers found one of the drivers was impaired by alcohol. Officers arrested and charged Michael Avery, 36 of 55 Harris St. Sault Ste. Marie with Possession of a Controlled Drug, Impaired Driving causing Bodily Harm and Driving over 08. He will appear in court on Sept16th.
