Stolen bike, tools leads to arrest

One person has been charged with break and enter after police officers responded to a report of someone checking houses in the Melville Road area yesterday afternoon.

An individual matching the suspect's description was located and questioned by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service. They were found to be in possession of a bicycle and tools that had been reported stolen from a Softwood Drive residence. 

Alicia Mancino, 26, was arrested and charged with break and enter, and theft under $5,000. Mancino is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 16.
