Sault man charged with impaired driving

Sault Ste. Marie Police arrested a man for impaired driving early Saturday morning. 

Police say they responded to a call at 3:03 a.m. on June 20 about an an unknown vehicle in a driveway on Smale Ave.

Upon arrival, they found the accused behind the wheel of the described vehicle.

After speaking to the accused and allegedly smelling alcohol on their breath, officers issued two breathalyzer tests, both of which the accused failed.  

As a result, Derek Folz, 34, was arrested for impaired driving and charged with impaired driving alcohol and drugs and impaired driving blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
