On September 26, 2015 at 8:05 am Patrol Officers arrested and charged a 45 year old male for domestic related Assault, Mischief and Breach of Probation. The male struck his common-in-law wife in the head. He also damaged their television set.

The male struck his common-in-law wife in the head. He also damaged their television set. The victim received minor injuries in the incident. He appeared in WASH court on September 26.

On September 26, 2015 at 11:50 am Patrol Officers arrested and charged Alicia Haldenby regarding a theft complaint made by a local grocery store.  It’s alleged that she attended at the store and stole merchandise valued at $121.00.  It was also determined that she breached the terms of a recognizance by failing to notify police of her change in address.  She was released and is scheduled to appear in court on October 26, 2015 at 9:00 A.M.

On September 26, 2015 City Police attended in the area of the Cambrian Mall regards to a theft call.  It is alleged that the accused Craig William Smith age 34, concealed an item on his person and left the store without attempting to pay for it.  The accused was apprehended by a store loss prevention officer and arrested for theft under $5000.00.  The accused is scheduled to appear in court on October 26, 2015 at 9:00 am.

On September 26, 2015 City Police responded to a family dispute regarding an apparent assault.  It is alleged that the accused Justus Anthony Mancuso, age 20 assaulted a family member. Police investigation was done and the accused was arrested for assault.  The accused is scheduled to appear in court on October 26, 2015 at 9:00 am.

City Police attended to the area of Landslide Rd. and Fourth Line last evening regarding a vehicle on its roof in the creek. Investigation revealed the vehicle had driven into the guardrail causing it to flip over. The driver then walked away from the scene but was later located on Black Rd. He was arrested and charged with care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired and then transported to the City Police station for the purposes of obtaining a breath sample. Readings were obtained in excess of 100 mg and as a result he was further charged with over 80. 34 year old Allan McWilliams of Lorna Dr. will be appearing in Provincial Court October 16th.

City Police attended to a Bay St apartment building last night regarding a domestic incident. It is alleged a female and her boyfriend were arguing when it escalated to the point where she punched him twice in the face. She was arrested and charged with one count of assault and will be appearing in Provincial Court October 28th.
