A 41-year-old male is in custody and will attend bail court on Tuesday after it is alleged that on the 11 Oct 14 at approximately 02:30 hours the accused attended his residence on Trunk Road while intoxicated and began accusing his common law wife of cheating on him. He threw food at her and [threatened] to hit her. It is also alleged that he grabbed her wrist attempting to twist her arm behind her back. The victim managed to get away from him and called a neighbour to assist. She did not require medical attention for her injuries.
On October 11, 2014 at approximately 2:55 a.m. City Police located a female known to them in the area of Tancred Street and Albert Street East. There were outstanding warrants for the arrest of the female. Linday Lilian Perreault, age 31 of Wellington Street East, was arrest on the warrants. The accused is charged with failing to attend court and theft under $5,000 x2. The accused will appear in court on November 17, 2014 at 9 a.m.
