ONE ARRESTED FOR FRAUD
On Wednesday, November 5, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Fraud Unit was called to LaSenza in the Station Mall in regards to an internal theft and fraud.

As a result of an investigation, a female employee was charged with one count of Fraud and one count of Theft Under $5,000.00. Sgt. M. Rollin of the Sault Police Service said the charges stem from 39 fraudulent transactions carried out by the employee over a period of six months.

The accused is alleged to have voided cash sales after the customer had left and then kept the money from those sales.

She will be appearing in court on Mon. Dec. 8th at 9:00 am.

If you have information on this or any other fraud, you are asked to contact Sgt. Rollin of the Fraud Unit.
