City police conducted a R.I.D.E. check yesterday, 506 vehicles were checked with 22 roadside tests administered. Of those, two were taken to the police station for a full breathalyser.
There were 8 twelve-hour suspensions handed out and one driver charged with being impaired.
Several people were arrested overnight for breaching their probation conditions. There were also several arrests for being intoxicated in a public place.
