In the early morning hours of March 12, City Police officers attended to the McDonalds on Great Northern Road regarding a possible impaired driver in the drive through. Further investigation led the officers to arrest the accused for impaired and at this time they also learned he was a prohibited driver. Once at the station, breath tests on the Intoxilyzer produced results that were more than three times the legal limit. 41-year-old Rodney Ladubec of Old Garden River Road has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, having over 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood and prohibited driving. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on April 25.
