33 year old Marlene St.Germaine of 317 Wellington St. E. Apt. # 1 will be appearing in Court on July 8th as well, as a result of charges laid on her by Police on June 7th. It is alleged she attended Wal-Mart in the Station Mall on April 16th and stole diapers. She attended Wal-Mart again on June 7th and this time left the store with sleeping bags and a leaf blower without paying. She was also on conditions of a probation order to not attend the Station Mall and to keep the peace and be good. As a result she was charged with two counts of theft and 3 counts of breaching her probation.

The City Police are asking the public for anyone who may have witnessed a pedestrian/vehicle collision on Albert near Blucher at about 10:30 last evening to call Traffic Services, Cst. Joe Poderys at 705-949-6300 ext. 383.
In relation to that accident, 47 year old Terry Gauthier of 212 Albert St. E. was arrested at the scene for causing a disturbance and obstructing Police. Mr. Gauthier’s son was involved in the accident and it is alleged Mr. Gauthier kept interfering with paramedic and police personnel on scene trying to attend to his son’s injuries. He also became belligerent and was continually yelling at the emergency responders. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on July 8th.
