At 1:50 p.m. on June 3, city police arrested and charged 50-year-old Geoffrey Chamings of Letcher Street. It’s alleged that the accused attended at the Joe’s No Frills and stole merchandise valued at $159. He was apprehended by a Loss Prevention Officer

On June 4, 2016 at 4:10 a.m., City Police arrested and charged a 40-year-old female in relation to a domestic incident in the central part of the city.  It is alleged that the accused pushed her common-law partner out of a chair and punched her in the eye.  The victim had to attend at Sault Area Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.  The accused appeared in WASH court today and was remanded to Bail Court on June 6, 2016.

At 1:50 p.m. on June 3, city police arrested and charged 50-year-old Geoffrey Chamings of Letcher Street. It’s alleged that the accused attended at the Joe’s No Frills and stole merchandise valued at $159. He was apprehended by a Loss Prevention Officer and turned over to Police. He has been charged with theft under $5000 and will be appearing in court on July 11, 2016.

At 3:55 p.m. on June 3, city police arrested and charged 47-year-old Jeffrey Allan McDonald of Albert Street East. It’s alleged that the accused stole merchandise from Canadian Tire valued at $107. He was apprehended by store security and turned over to Police. McDonald has been charged with theft under $5000 and one count of breach of probation for failing to keep the peace and be good. He will be appearing in court on July 11, 2016.
