On the 24th June 2016 at approximately 8 p.m., the Sault Ste. Marie Police received a report of a lone male knocking over the cenotaph in front of the Sault Ste. Marie Court House.

On the 25th June 2016 at approximately 9 a.m., officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police attended at an establishment on Great Northern Road for a male in distress. In speaking with several witnesses, the officers found that a male was breaching his probation by not keeping the peace and being of good behaviour, being in possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of drugs or substances. As a result James Bolan, age 26, will attend the Sault Ste. Marie Court House on the 8th August 2016 for breach of probation x3.

On the 24th June 2016 at approximately 8 p.m., the Sault Ste. Marie Police received a report of a lone male knocking over the cenotaph in front of the Sault Ste. Marie Court House. A short time later a male matching the same description was observed causing damage to symbol/signs in front of the Masonic Temple located on Albert Street East. City Police were able to locate and arrest the male a short distance away. As a result of this arrest, Martin Vine of Hudson Street is scheduled to attend court on the 25th of July to answer to the charges of mischief under $5,000 x2 and one breach of probation.
