A break and enter occurred in the 400 block of Farwell Terrace early this morning. A significant amount of cash and jewellery was taken.

EDITOR's NOTE: Charges in the following case were withdrawn

[A man],54, was arrested at approximately 2:00 P.M. on an outstanding warrant for OIC (Officer In Charge) breach of undertaking. The accused has a first appearance court date of 09Jul12.

On Friday morning at approximately 0300 hours officers on patrol observed two vehicles travelling north side by side at a high rate of speed on Gr. Northern approaching Second Line. Both vehicles blew through the red light west onto Second Line one vehicle turning into the City Police Station the second continuing west where they were stopped by police near Sackville Rd. The officers conducted an investigation and determined a number of charges.

John Pine, 40, of 44 Shingwauk St., has been charged with dangerous driving, impaired driving, and fail to provide a breath sample. A second person, Robyn Eshkabok, 31, of 416 Old Garden River Rd..has been charged with  weapons dangerous, assault with a weapon x 3 and breach of probation. Both accused will appear in bail court at 0930 01Jun12.

A 42 year old involved in a domestic situation was charged with two counts of breach of probation and mischief as a result of an altercation just before noon today. The accused attended court this afternoon and was remanded to bail court on Monday, 04Jun12.
