A 17-year-old young person was driving a stolen vehicle on Copernicus Drive last night when he hit several parked cars. He then left the scene of the accident on foot.
A 17-year-old young person was driving a stolen vehicle on Copernicus Drive last night when he hit several parked cars. He then left the scene of the accident on foot. Police picked him up in the area and charged him with possession of the stolen vehicle as well as possession of a stolen wallet. In addition there were several traffic charges including leaving the scene of the accident.

Police arrested a male and charged him with assault. It is alleged he assaulted a female on June 18 at which time he was released with conditions. A second complaint from the same female was received yesterday. She also told police of a third assault involving the same man that had allegedly occurred on March 18. He was also charged with breaches of recognizance.

Another male was arrested last night after he allegedly assaulted and threatened a female. He was already under two probation orders for assault. Police also discovered an outstanding warrant for break and enter. Police laid charges of assault, threatening, five breaches of recognizance, and one possession of stolen property.

Mark Steven Martin was arrested inside St. Andrew’s Church last night. He had thrown a brick through a window to gain entry. City Police Sergeant, Levis Vallee said police found him inside the rectory office where he was arrested.
