STOLEN CAR At 5:30 this morning police were called about a vehicle driving on its rims with sparks flying everywhere. Police soon found the vehicle on Northern Avenue and arrested the two occupants when they discovered it was stolen.

At 5:30 this morning police were called about a vehicle driving on its rims with sparks flying everywhere. Police soon found the vehicle on Northern Avenue and arrested the two occupants when they discovered it was stolen.

Arrested were John Claude Paquette, age 18, of 29 Riverin Road and the driver, Brandon Bennett, age 20, of 96 Adrian Drive. Both have been charged with possession of stolen property with Bennett being charged with Impaired Driving as well.

“The vehicle was banged up pretty good,” said Sergeant Lebis Vallee. The investigation is just beginning so there are no details as yet. Police were called by a witness who saw the vehicle throwing off sparks.


QUIET NIGHT
Police responded to several bear sightings yesterday evening. An impaired driver was arrested.
