On June 11, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. officers received information of a possible impaired driver. Officers were able to locate the vehicle at the Great Northern Road LCBO store and speak to the driver. It is alleged that the driver, who had open alcohol in the vehicle, was impaired by alcohol while in control of the motor vehicle. 55-year-old Darryl Coutts of Brookfield Ave. was arrested and returned to the station where he failed a breathalyzer test. The accused has been charged with being in care and control of a motor vehicle while impaired and have excess 80 mg alcohol in blood while in care and control of motor vehicle. The accused will appear in court on July 18.
