28 year old Sandra Scott of 141 Willcox Ave. was charged with possession of stolen property. It is alleged on the 17 of June she attended at the Second Hand World on Queen St. where she sold a 40 inch television. The television was reported stolen from an address in the 200 block of Albert St East. She is scheduled to appear in court on September 9.
On the July 27 at approx 3:20 a.m. officers initiated a traffic stop for a driver they suspected might be impaired. Investigation revealed that the male was not impaired but as a result of a search the police located a small amount of Marijuana on the accused. 18 year old Mason Reed of 321 Albert St East was charged with possession under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, he is scheduled to appear in court on August 29.
A 23 year old male was charged with assault in regards to a domestic incident, he is scheduled to appear in court on August 28.

24 year old Daniel Lepage of 76 St. Andrews Terrace was arrested on the 26th of July for break and enter, possession of stolen property, breach of a release document and breach of probation. It is alleged that on July 26th Mr. Lepage was seen in the area of McNabb St and Willow Ave by an officer who knew him to be on a release document requiring that he not leave his residence unless in the presence of his surety. When the officer attempted to speak to Mr. Lepage he ran and dropped a bag that was later found to contain items that were stolen from a residence on Lake Street. At the time of this occurrence the accused was on a probation order with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He will be appearing in Weekend and Statutory Holiday (WASH) court this morning.
A 54 year old female was arrested in regards to a domestic violence allegation. It is alleged that on the 26th of July the woman and her boyfriend were in Sault Ste. Marie to attend a wedding. The two became involved in an argument while in the male’s vehicle. The female bit the male’s ear causing minor injuries that did not require medical attention and grabbed his seatbelt and pulled it tight across his throat. The male exited the vehicle and the female got in the driver’s seat and drove away. She later presented herself at the station. She was arrested and will be in court on August 28th charged with assault and take motor vehicle without consent.
52 year old Charles O’Dell of 172 Hudson Street will be appearing in court on August 28thcharged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on July 26th the accused assaulted a male known to him by grabbing him by the throat and pushing him into a wall.
29 year old Edward Petts of 28 Wellington Street East will be attending court on August 26th. It is alleged that on the 27th of July the accused attended at the residence of people known to him. While at the residence he threatened a male who was present and stole two Acer monitors, a cell phone and a clock. The accused was on probation at the time of the offences. He is charged with Threatening, theft under $5000 and breach of probation.
