On January 9, 2016 at 10:24 a.m. City Police arrested 46-year-old Jeffery Allan McDonald of Herrick St. It alleged that Mr. McDonald attended at Walmart on Bay St and stole food merchandise valued at $43. He has been charged with theft under $5,000 and will be appearing in court on February 08, 2016.
On January 8, 2016 City Police received a call from a male that was staying at a local motel / hotel in the east end of the city. Police investigation revealed that the male was allegedly intoxicated and had called police to complain about his purchase of some bad marijuana. A quantity of marijuana was found on the bed. A 55-year-old male of West Nipising, Ontario was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on February 8, 2016 at 9 a.m.
