On January 3 City Police conducted a vehicle stop at the intersection of Boundary Rd and Trunk Rd. Investigation revealed that a male in the passenger seat was wanted for two counts of theft under $5,000 and three counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused, 25-year-old James Bolan of no fixed abode, attended at H. R. Lash on October 11, 2014 and stole a jacket. It is further alleged that he stole an XBox from Shoppers Drug Mart on Great Northern Rd. on the 8th day of December as well. The accused was also on a probation order at the time of the offences. He will be appearing in Weekend and Statutory Holiday (W.A.S.H) court on January 4.
On January 3, 2015 police attended at an address in the north end of the city for a domestic complaint. Investigation resulted in a 33-year-old female being charged with three counts of assault from an incident dating back to the beginning of December 2014 and from two incidents on January 2. She will be appearing in WASH court on January 4.
At 11:37 p.m. on 02 Jan 2015 officers attended to a call for service at Jackie’s Barber Shop 312 Korah Rd. Two front windows were found smashed with a rock. No entry was gained to the business.
At 02:22 a.m. on 03 Jan 2015 officers attended to a call for service at Sweet Greetings 486 Queen St E. The front window was found smashed in. No entry was gained to the business.
