On December 4, 2015 at 3pm police received a complaint of a break and enter that had just occurred in the 1500 block of Trunk Rd. Information was received that cheques had been stolen from the break in. Shortly after that a call was received from a local Money Mart store that persons were attempting to cash the cheques that had just been stolen. Responding officers observed a suspicious vehicle upon their arrival and as they approached the vehicle, officers activated their roof lights and sirens in an attempt to stop the vehicle; however the driver did not stop. Officers pursued the vehicle for a short distance until the driver entered a wooded area and became stuck. After a short foot chase three female accused were taken into custody. All three were wanted on outstanding arrest warrants in addition to the new offences.

21 year old Amber Wilson-Vincent of Ferguson Ave
- Warrants for theft, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled drug and failing to appear in court
23 year old Jade Shawanda of Sweetgrass St
- Possession of stolen property
- Utter forged document
- Attempt to utter forged document (2 counts)
- Warrants for mischief, breach of probation (3 counts), theft under (2 counts) and failing to appear in court (2 counts)
19 year old Sidney Shaganash of Albert St West
- Possession of stolen property
- Flight from police
- Warrants for mischief, breach of probation (3 counts), theft under (2 counts) and failing to appear in court (2 counts)
All three accused were sent to W.A.S.H. court and have been remanded to bail court on December 7th. This investigation is continuing and further charges are expected to be laid.
Sometime between November 29th and December 4th unknown culprits broke into a residence on Trelawne Ave. Once inside the home the culprits stole a large flat screen television.
