BUSY NIGHT FOR THE COPS
City police were kept hopping during the past twenty-four hour period. There was nothing out of the ordinary nor were there any serious injuries. Five persons were arrested for liquor related offences.


FEMALE ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT
One female was arrested for assault downtown on Queen Street at Gore. There was a complaint that she was fighting with people in front of The River Rock. When police arrived, the accused wanted to take them on too. She was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer.


YOUNG OFFENDERS ARRESTED
Three young offenders were arrested and charged with breach of probation. They were in possession of a wallet and lighter that had been reported stolen. A possession of stolen property charge was added.
