LOUD AND ABUSIVE
Officers were on a routine call on Bruce Street around 11 o'clock when a bystander began shouting abusive language and creating a disturbance. Several people had to cross the street to avoid Henry Cadreau, age 21 of 28 Hughes Street.

Cadreau was warned several times by police who finally arrested him. He resisted by kicking officers who charged him with creating a disturbance and resisting arrest.

GRABBED STEERING WHEEL
Jason Gilbert, age 20 of 210 Cathcart Street, was a passenger in a motor vehicle last night when he suddenly grabbed the steering wheel and jerked it, causing the driver to lose control. The vehicle hit the curb hard causing considerable damage. There were no injuries.

Gilbert was charged with driving while disqualified, dangerous driving, breach of recognizance, and 2 counts of breach of probation. Police say he was violating nearly every condition of his probation.
