On Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11 a.m., a 21-year-old turned himself in on domestic related warrants. It’s alleged that the accused failed to appear in court on February 04, 2015. He will be appearing in court on May 6, 2015 to face a new charge of failing to appear.
On Saturday, April 4, 2015 Patrol Officers were responded to a noise complaint on First Ave. After speaking with the suspect it was discovered that he was wanted on three outstanding warrants. 19-year-old Cody Hurdle of Goulais Ave. was arrested and will be appearing in W.A.S.H. Court on April 5, 2015.
On Saturday April 04 15 at about 5:05 a.m. city police were called to the Mac’s Mart on Boundary Rd. at Trunk for an armed robbery. A lone male entered the store with a bat and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied with the demand and the male fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. The clerk was not physically harmed in this incident. The male suspect is described as white, mid-20s to mid-30s, 5’10’’ to 6’, reddish blond stubble on face, wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with white writing on chest with his hood up, black ball cap with white writing on brim and white framed sun glasses with reddish tint. The weapon in question was light blue 3’ bat. Officers with the assistance of the K9 handler checked the area with negative results.
On April 3, 2015 patrol officers responded to information that 25-year-old Brodie Barnes of Borron Ave. was currently in the downtown area. Barnes was wanted on a warrant for a number of offences including break and enter and robbery with a firearm. It is alleged he was involved in a home invasion earlier in the week. With the assistance of the K9 unit, Barnes was located and arrested near the 100 block of Grace Street. Barnes will be appearing in WASH court April 4, 2015.
On April 3, 2015 patrol officers responded to information regarding a wanted male. Officers attended a residence in the west end of the city and arrested a 24-year-old male wanted in connection with a domestic incident which occurred earlier in the week. It is alleged the male assaulted his female partner. The accused will be appearing in WASH court April 4, 2015.
