City police had a relatively quiet twenty-four hours. There was an arrest yesterday. Jeremy Bjornaa, age 24, was charged with break and enter. It is alleged he unlawfully entered the residence of his former girlfriend and trashed the dwelling causing $2,000 in damages. She was not home at the time.

The annual auction of recovered items that were not claimed by their owners is being held today. It got underway at 10:00 a.m. at the rear of the police station on the Second Line. Items include bicycles, jewellery, snow machine parts, etc.
