A suspect is facing multiple charges after being arrested early Monday.
A 911 call reporting a disturbance brought Sault Ste. Marie Police to the south end of Grand Boulevard around 5:30 a.m.
Arriving officers found a suspect they say was breaching the conditions of their release order and who was also wanted on a warrant.
“Following their arrest, a search of their property found the accused to be in possession of keys and ownership of a vehicle which had been reported stolen, along with other stolen property and a break in instrument,” police said in a news release.
Shawn Seymour, 22, has been charged with:
- Theft of a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Failure to Comply with Judicial Release Order x2
The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
