Drug warrant executed
On February 9th, 2017 officers with the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an address in the 200 block of Albert Street East.
As a result of the search 42-year-old Leo Tremblay of Albert Street East and 25-year-old Christine Bob of Cambridge Place were arrested.
During the search officers located;
- 40 hydromorphone pills,
- 8 grams of marihuana,
- 15 grams of psilocybin (magic mushrooms,
- 5 grams of cannabis resin (hash oil),
- 4 knives that open with centrifugal force,
- One push dagger, and;
- 2 sets of brass knuckles
Both Leo Tremblay and Christine Bob have been charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, and 7 counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.
They will appear in court on March 20, 2017.
