Police seize dagger, two sets of brass knuckles in drug raid

Drug warrant executed

On February 9th, 2017 officers with the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an address in the 200 block of Albert Street East.

As a result of the search 42-year-old Leo Tremblay of Albert Street East and 25-year-old Christine Bob of Cambridge Place were arrested. 

During the search officers located;

  • 40 hydromorphone pills,
  • 8 grams of marihuana,
  • 15 grams of psilocybin (magic mushrooms,
  • 5 grams of cannabis resin (hash oil),
  • 4 knives that open with centrifugal force,
  • One push dagger, and;
  • 2 sets of brass knuckles

Both Leo Tremblay and Christine Bob have been charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance, and 7 counts of possession of a prohibited weapon. 

They will appear in court on March 20, 2017.
