Sault Ste. Marie Police Service officers were on scene outside a residence in the 100 block of Pentagon Boulevard on Saturday afternoon.
Yellow tape surrounded the residence.
On arrival officers located a male suffering from injuries.
He was transported to hospital with what police are calling serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, said Lincoln Louttit, Sault Police spokesperson.
