An arrest was made Wednesday in connection with a break and enter from mid-August.
On Aug. 15, a break and enter was reported in the 200 block of St. James Street.
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service responded to the residence and found out that the victim's garage had been broken into and several items were taken by the accused. A warrant was obtained for the arrest of the accused.
On Wednesday, the accused was found in the 300 block of Huron Street and arrested.
As a result of the investigation, Allan Smythe-Lance, 36, has been charged with break and enter.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
