On May 13, 2020, police attended in the area of Gros Cap regarding a complaint of a man shooting a BB gun in the vicinity of people.
Officers with Patrol Services and Investigation Services are investigating this incident. Police were told a male was standing on top of the bluffs shooting what the complainants believe was a BB gun towards the water. One of the complainants was struck with a projectile, suffering superficial wounds to their back. They did not require medical attention.
This is a serious incident and police are treating this as a weapons call. If anyone in the area has any information regarding this incident, we urge them to call Detective Sergeant Darren Sagle at 705-949-6300 ext. 340.
