Police say it was during a 1 a.m. traffic stop on Monday that officers discovered a generator reportedly stolen in Heyden.

Two people in the vehicle were arrested.

Robby Dickinson, 45, of Goulais River and Curtis Leach, 55, of Sault Ste. Marie were both charged with break and enter, theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police did not say why the vehicle was pulled over.

The accused were both released and are scheduled to be in court on Aug. 19.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
