Sault Police charged a 35-year-old after two incidents occurred on Thursday morning.

A 911 call that came in at 8:35 a.m. described an unwanted person at a business in the 600 block of Northern Avenue who was making inappropriate comments to employees.

Police say the accused followed one victim on their way to work and attempted to grab their sweater.

“Shortly thereafter, the accused entered the business and made sexual remarks to two other victims. The victims and accused are unknown to one another. The victims did not sustain physical injuries,” police said in a news release.

Then at around 10 a.m. officers attended another unwanted person call in the 200 block of Elizabeth Street. Upon arrival, officers located and arrested Michel Koussaye, 35.

Police charged Koussaye with assault, criminal harassment x2, and failure to comply with a probation order x2 for both incidents. The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and Koussaye is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
