A car crash on Saturday has resulted in charges for a 39-year-old man from the Sault.
Police say they responded to a motor-vehicle collision in the area of Black Road and McNabb Street at 4:14 p.m.
Police allege that the accused had been travelling westbound on McNabb and struck a vehicle travelling northbound on Black Road.
In a press release issued today, police say they developed reason to believe the accused's ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
When officers attempted to obtain a breath sample, police say, the accused refused.
As a result, Justin Lewis has been arrested and charged with failing to comply with a demand and five counts of operation while prohibited.
He is scheduled to appear in court on March 21, 2021.
