Sault police say they found no new leads after a Tuesday search for missing 39-year-old Jake Corbiere, and a wider-scale search planned for today has been postponed.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service had use of an OPP cadaver dog and deployed "significant" resources in a search of the west end yesterday.

Sault Police spokesperson Lincoln Louttit said no leads were found and a larger-scale search planned for Wednesday has been postponed for operational reasons.

Reached for comment yesterday, Corbiere's sister Christina Corbiere said he has to be found.

"We need to know what happened," she told SooToday. "Someone knows something."

Corbiere is described as 5-foot-10 with a thin build, brown eyes and short brown hair. He was last seen on March 12 in the 0-100 block of Churchill Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Brad Harfman at (705) 949-6300, ext. 262.

Tips can also be directed to Crime Stoppers by phone at 705-942-7867 or 1-800-222-8477. Tips can also be submitted online or by downloading the P3 app.
