The Arrest of a Wanted Person

Shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Saturday the 2nd of September, resulting from the combined efforts of the Ontario Provincial Police (Sault Detachment) and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, wanted person DAVID DANIEL CARRIE was taken into custody.

Mr. Carrie had been the subject of an extensive investigation, initiated by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, as a result of him having breached a number of conditions set out in a judicial release order that he had previously entered into.

Mr. Carrie is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear, via video link, before a Justice of the Peace on Sunday the

3rd of September 2006.
