Assault Charges On Saturday morning City Police were called to a centrally located residence in regards to an assault. Upon arrival the victim informed officers, that her ex-husband, had assaulted her by punching her in the nose.

On Saturday morning City Police were called to a centrally located residence in regards to an assault. Upon arrival the victim informed officers, that her ex-husband, had assaulted her by punching her in the nose. The accused, a 45 year old male was located a short time later by Police charged with Assault. The victim did not require medical attention fro her injury.

Assault, Robbery & Breach

At approx. 1:00 AM this morning City Police were called to a family dispute, in the north part of the city. Upon police arrival the officers were informed that the accused, a 19-year-old male, had assaulted his father and stolen his wallet prior to leaving the family home. At approx. 4:25 AM the accused turned himself in to police. The accused will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM on charges of Assault, Robbery and a Breach of an Undertaking.

Multiple Mischief Reports

This past weekend City Police were called to investigate eleven reports of mischief to vehicles. Eight of the incidents occurred on MacDonald Ave. – mostly in the 300 block. The majority of the damage consisted of vehicle windows and doors being damaged. Other locations reporting damage were the 200 and 300 blocks of Lake St. and the 100 block of Autumn Dr.

City Police were called residences in the 300 block of MacDonald Ave. and the 100 block of Sutton Pl. for thefts from vehicles. Thieves stole a set of binoculars from MacDonald Ave. and a GPS system from a car on Sutton Pl.

Once again the public is reminded not to leave any valuables inn their vehicles. The public is also reminded to contact the City Police or Crimestoppers (1-800- 222 TIPS) if they have any information on any of these crimes.
