SEXUAL ASSAULT
On Friday, September 13th at 3:40 am, a male entered a 36-year-old female's apartment on Tancred St. and allegedly sexually assaulted her. The female awoke to find a male had gained entry to her apartment through the front door and then her bedroom. The suspect, who was known by the victim, exposed himself to her and had to be forcibly pushed away.

He then removed a small quantity of cash from the victim's purse and left the residence. Patrol officers located him on Saturday at 1:12 pm and arrested him. Charged with theft under $5,000.00, sexual assault, break and enter, and breach of probation is Gerald Chretien, age 44, of 17 Terry Fox Place #4. Chretien will appear in bail court today at 1:30 pm.
